Jorge Morell, Vice President of Property Management of Saglo Development
Jorge Morell is the Vice President of Property Management of Saglo Development Corporation. He is responsible for all aspects related to the daily property management of all centers contained in the portfolio, construction oversight of all interior tenant improvement work and of all exterior renovation improvement work. Additional responsibilities include overseeing the Property Management Team deployed throughout the State, real estate tax appeals, portfolio insurance placement, litigation oversight and managing outside firms such as architects, engineers and specialty consultants in connection with securing permits, required variances and/or site plan approvals for the addition of new out parcel buildings, etc.
Jorge brings over thirty (30) years’ experience in asset and property management experience. He started his career at various commercial lending financial institutions where he held supervisory officer positions and his most recent employment was at Woolbright Development for the past twenty (20) years where he was Senior Vice President of the Operations and Construction Department with primary focus centered on all aspects of each asset’s business plan from its original acquisition to the redevelopment value add execution efforts.
He is a graduate of Florida Atlantic University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and is also a Florida Licensed Salesperson. Jorge is also a member of the ICSC organization, is fluent in Spanish and enjoys his free time spending it with his wife, son, family and friends.
